INTRODUCTION TO EARTH MOVING EQUIPMENT Sundays 10/13, 10/20, 10/27

This hands-on course covers safety and industry regulatory standards regarding operating earthmoving equipment. Actual time on equipment provides students with opportunities to learn practical operation, controls and instrumentation, steering and maneuvering, equipment inspection and maintenance, operating limitations, material stockpiling, grading and levels and trenching. Vehicles include pay-loaders and excavators used mainly for uploading sand, dirt and mud into trucks, clearing rubble and digging.
